The People-Powered $20K Challenge (#PP20K) is our grassroots fundraising campaign that activates the collective power of our friends, families, and social networks to raise $20,000 towards racial, economic, and gender justice in NYC. Through our fundraising campaign we rally 100 of our CAAAV family (this could be you!) to ask at least 10 friends (including yourself) to each donate $20 and raise $200 or more each. That’s $20,000 in total!
Become a People Mover and help us reach our goal of $20K
As a People Mover, you will be fundraising for 10 days to reach your goal and collectively help CAAAV raise $20,000. The 10 day challenge is from Monday, October 21 to Wednesday, October 30.

- Believe ALL New Yorkers deserve homes and safety free from gentrification, immigrant exploitation, and police brutality!
- Support low-income Asian immigrant communities LEADING the charge to solve issues they are directly impacted by!
- WANT your friends to learn more and take action about issues impacting low-income Asian immigrants too!
Fundraising is proven to be a great OPPORTUNITY to ask our friends to take a simple action that invites them into a larger social justice movement. And who better to ask them to care than YOU, the person they care about?
